Trip Description
- We will be hunting mostly public land on Lake Champlain for ducks. I have a boat that we will use to get to our spots and decoys for us to use. Hunting public is great up here because we can really hunt wherever the birds are. A typical bag for lat season duck hunting can include a variety of sea ducks with goldeneye, mergansers, and bluebills. Early season we can shoot geese on private fields that I get access to hunt. This is an awesome hunt and the daily limits are 8 geese per person. We also have a bit of snow geese in the spring that could be paired with a turkey hunt.
Accommodations
- We have campers for you to stay in and we can cook out for dinner and sit around a fire. Or there are cheap hotels in the area.
