Trip Description
- I can provide some of the finest Rio Grande Wild Turkey Hunts available anywhere. With a large native bird population and the natural habitat in which Rio’s thrive, hunters are sure to experience a successful spring hunt, including the thrill of calling in the birds. We are proud of our 100% success rate on our spring turkey hunts. The hunt includes 2 birds on a 3 day hunt.
Accommodations
- There is a small pond that we have stocked with bass right beside the lodge for anyone who wants to do a little fishing during the down time. A top of the line skinning building is a few yards from the lodge where all meat and trophy preparation is handled. We’ve found that this seems to be the evening hang out as guides and clients start cooking back in for dinner. Although we like to think of this operation as a get away from our client’s daily grind, the lodge is equipped with Wifi for those that need to stay in touch with family or conduct business. Three meals a day are served by our cook who is very good at what he does.
