I run a fishing guide service primary on Fort Gibson Lake in NE Oklahoma. We do fish a few other lakes occasionally. During the summer months we like to do some bowfishing. We could fish regularly for spoonbill during the day and then bow fish at night. I typically do 4hour trips but depending on the trade we would do a day or 2 of fishing. I can fish up to 6 people and have all the equipment needed to be successful. I can 100% guarantee that you will catch at least 1 paddlefish with me. We primarily fish for paddlefish by trolling during the day. Then once we find them we will use divers to snag them. You can only keep one paddlefish per day and 2 per year in OK. However, you can snag as many as you want. A great day on the water is usually 10-25 fish during the fall. We have had 40+ fish days in the summer. The great thing is that these are all usually 30-50lb fish. The season is best from October - May but we do fish year-round. In the summer, they tend to get in shallow water so we can do some sight-fishing. They also fight a lot harder in shallower water. Some of our biggest ones on Gibson were in the 90-100lb range. I have a 2017 ProCat 240 boat that has a top for shade when it is hot and we can add a heater for when it is cold. We also fish some for white bass, stripes, hybrids, and catfish.
Accommodations
We are working on 2 2 bedroom cabins setups for guest but those won't be ready until around October. I can provide some recommendations for local accommodations if you decide to come in the meantime.
