Join me for the hike /camp trip and bow hunt of a lifetime. Hike the famous Kalalau trail on the Island of Kauai, Hawaii. You need to be in good shape, pack 40 lbs. on steep trails, steep hills, possible flash floods. Old goats go to the Sharks , little ones over the fire. No limit, same invasive species problem as the hogs in south USA. I've made this hike/hunt with the bow 7 times, its one of the most beautiful spots in the world! Hell, anyone can stay at a condo and sit on the beach with a drink. We will actually do some of that too. Can accommodate 1-2 hunters plus more non-hunters are welcome.
I do this trip on the cheap, total trip has usually run around $1,200 to $1,500 per person depending on the rate for airline and where you fly from. I fly Alaska Air out of SEATAC / Seattle. You will be responsible for your own travel and condo.
LOOKING FOR: Low cost, over the counter license and tags for any combo of the following: Bowhunting Lrg. or small game (especially BBQ size feral hogs). I am a meat hunter so size isn’t as important but do enjoy a trophy every now and then. Upland Gamebirds with my 28 gauge. Fishing mostly for in-shore waters fish. Scuba diving and or spearfishing, Snow skiing, boating, vacations on the beach for myself and my wife, or if a hunting trip, possibly a hunting buddy.
