I am currently the MN state chapter president for the NWTF. I take a several people on mentor hunts every year to help with the NWTF R3 efforts. This year, I took 7 people on their first turkey hunt. That being said, I enjoy taking new ppl but am not a guide. I live on a family farm in Waltham which is about 30min from Rochester area. We have access to probably 8,000+ acres of private on 12-13 different tracts and then I also have a lot of experience on public. I worked for the state DNR as part of the trap and transplant team for turkeys for several years so this naturally gave me really good knowledge of good public land hunting. You can kill 1 turkey in MN and our tags are over the counter. The season is broken into several mini season. The first 5 seasons (A-E) are 7day seasons. The last season (F) is two weeks. Anybody that didn't kill a turkey in the first seasons can hunt the last two weeks in season F.
Accommodations
Depending on when you come and how many people come, I might could provide lodging. But if not, there are some hotels that I can recommend not too far away.
