Trip Description
- I'm a season waterfowl hunter in northern Michigan. I offer guided diver duck hunts on the biggest inland lake in Michigan. Planning further away from season will give better options on dates. We kill over 10 species of mostly divers and a few sea ducks. We hunt open water out of a 23ft war eagle boat in a 30ft cedar poll float blind. Grass is all hand cut for the best hunting opportunity. We hunt over approximately 16 to 20 dozen decoys. Lake has low pressure so makes great for the migration in the beginning of October through mid November sometimes later due to weather . We have a great population of bluegill and redheads. I'm a low key outfitter I only run about 15 groups a year I do it cause it's my passion not my job. I can include lodging and meals if needed. Looking forward to seeing what's out there and maybe fulfilling someone's dream hunt.
