Salmon, Idaho is nestled in the Bitterroot Mountains and surrounded by the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness and numerous mountain lakes. There are many different hikes of varying distances and difficulty to lakes with trout that rarely interact with humans. The fishing is great, the scenery is pure, and the town is picturesque. We can tailor a trip to the length of time, physical condition, and type of trout to catch. Typically catch Cutthroat, Rainbow, and Tiger Trout. Should also be able to catch some browns, bull, and brook trout.

Accommodations can either be camping in the backcountry or staying in one of Salmon’s comfortable hotel rooms and day trips can be made to the lakes.
