Trip Description
- I am an outfitter with 110,000 acre ranch uniquely set at the crossroads of the south Texas brush country and the Texas Coastal Plains. This gives us a habitat second to none for all native wildlife. Minimal hunting pressure, combined with good management, allows for large bucks year after year and it’s common to see more than 150 deer a day with half or more being bucks-so get ready to hunt! When deer hunting, a variety of methods are used to ensure success while catering to your personal desires and needs. Whether it is by 4×4 vehicles, spot and stalk, rattling, or blind hunting, our professional staff will work to put you on the “Big One.” Our deer hunts range from 3-5 day hunts with an included trophy hog tag.
Accommodations
- There is a small pond that we have stocked with bass right beside the lodge for anyone who wants to do a little fishing during the down time. A top of the line skinning building is a few yards from the lodge where all meat and trophy preparation is handled. We’ve found that this seems to be the evening hang out as guides and clients start cooking back in for dinner. Although we like to think of this operation as a get away from our client’s daily grind, the lodge is equipped with Wifi for those that need to stay in touch with family or conduct business. Three meals a day are served by our cook who is very good at what he does.
