Trip Description
- This is a 3-5 day self whitetail hunt (bow or gun) on a 100 acre secluded property in north-central Missouri (Sumner, MO) consisting mostly of timber with a main creek running through our property and several ponds. Our farm is nestled between a state wildlife refuge and Swan Lake National Park and serves as a natural deer funnel in the region.. We have a significant whitetail deer population in the area with limited to no pressure on our farm and limited hunting pressure in the area. My brother and I own the property and only our boys have hunted the farm in years past. Up to three bow hunters or two gun hunter can hunt the property safely at one time.
