Trip Description
- I have hunting access to about 40-50 private farms that amounts to 70,000+ acres. Also, if it isn't posted we can hunt it in ND. So, we will go where the birds are. We are very fortunate with access and waterfowl population. Most of our hunting is in fields with layout blinds. Geese is our focus but we have a bunch of ducks too. If you mainly wanted to hunt ducks then we would probably hunt over water more in the potholes. I have all the decoys needed and several extra layout blinds. An average day is 15-20 birds with that being a mixed bag of ducks and geese. We limit often though when it's good. In the 2018 season, we averaged 24birds per hunt. Last season, I didn't get to scout as much and we averaged 14 birds per hunt. We hunt mornings and scout in the evenings for the next day. The limit is 6 per person - 18 in your possession.
Accommodations
- No accommodations but I can recommend a local hotel. There are plenty in Minot. I will pick you up from the hotel and take you out. We can also cookout a night or two while you are here.
