Trip Description
- I have access to hog hunt over 25,000 acres in Texas. We can hunt year-round but thermal must be after deer season. So we mainly go hard from the end of January until it gets too hot to have fun in the summer. We kill 300+ every year just between a few buddies. Not an outfitter just an avid hunter. On an average night, we kill 10-40. We have an old truck to hunt out of as well as ATV's. A lot of ~200 acre pasture tracts so we can just ride from tract to tract looking for them. We also run cell cams and feeders to help us hone in on them. If you are interested in hunting with rifle or bow out of a stand we can do that as well. My buddy is a processor and guarantees a 7-day turnaround if you want to have some of the meat processed to take home with you.
Accommodations
- There is a new hotel about 5 minutes from where we are hunting that you can stay in. The best airport is an hour away in Shreveport, LA.
