Are you looking for an exciting time on the water? If so Fishing for paddlefish and Bowfishing can be a blast and it's fun for everyone. Reeling in these hard fighting prehistoric monsters is awesome! Combined with some Bowfishing can be an amazing timeout on the water. When Bowfishing we will be targeting Gar, Buffalo, carp and we might even get a shot at a paddlefish. I run a fishing guide service primary on Fort Gibson Lake in NE Oklahoma. We do fish a few other lakes occasionally. I typically do 4hour trips but depending on the trade we would do a day or 2 of fishing. I can fish up to 6 people and have all the equipment needed to be successful. I can 100% guarantee that you will catch at least 1 paddlefish with me. We look for the paddlefish with my sonar, Then once we find them we will use divers to help snag them. You can only keep one paddlefish per day and 2 per year in OK. However, you can snag as many as you want. A great day on the water is usually 10-25 fish during a trip. We have had 50+ fish days in the peak of the spawn. The great thing is that these are all usually 30-50lb up to 97 pounds caught out of my boat on Ft Gibson lake in my boat. The season is best from October - May but we do fish year-round. For the Bowfishing In the summer, they tend to get in shallow water so we can do some sight-fishing in the daytime or night under powerful led lights. Some of our biggest ones on Gibson were in the 90-100lb range. I have a 2017 ProCat 240 boat that has a top for shade when it is hot and an enclosure and we can add a heater for when it is cold. We also fish some for white bass, stripes, hybrids, catfish, and offer bowfishing.
Accommodations
We are working on 2 cabin setups for guest but those won't be ready until around October. I can provide some recommendations for local accommodations if you decide to come in the meantime.
