My family owns some of the finest duck hunting habitat in the MS Delta. Flooded cypress brakes, buck brush sloughs, Willow brakes, and green timber. We try to stay on the birds for the duration of our 60 day season! Located right in the heart of the historic MS Delta.
We prefer to stand against a tree in waders but we do have numerous blinds that can hunt 5-6 guns comfortably, and all of our boats are equipped with blinds to hunt from if necessary.
A typical day in camp would be at 4:30 am wake up call, hunt until we get our limit (hopefully), you get tired and hungry, or until 12:00pm. We let our birds rest in the evenings so no afternoon hunts allowed. Once back at camp, we always sit around a camp fire to tell lies, talk hunting, or watch football on the outdoor tv if there's a game to watch. Meal time is taken very serious around these parts. You certainly won't go hungry! Steaks, chicken, pork chops, fried venison, fish, or turkey. We ALWAYS make sure dinner time is gourmet.
If sitting around a fire, enjoying a drink, and shooting the bull isn't for you, we also have hundreds of acres of prime deer habitat. I'd be glad to put you on a stand for an afternoon deer or hog hunt.
