We have some incredible rail hunting in the marshes of the barrier islands, especially now that fewer and fewer people target them. This hunt is best when a NE storm system pushes water in, but for the past several years I've had great luck scheduling trips around a new or full moon. Locals wait for the storms, so we end up having the marsh to ourselves. Normal charters/guides aren't too expensive, but it only covers a boat ride and you're only hunting for an hour on either side of peak high tide. Plan for a 2+ day trip and I'll set you up in a nice farmhouse with full amenities, food, and drink. The boat is docked on the property, and our best spots are 5 minutes away. Highly recommend that you bring your wife or girlfriend - we'll drop them off with a cooler and chairs on a barrier island where they'll have miles and miles of beaches all to themselves and some of the best beachcombing on the East Coast. 2-4 observers welcome. When the tide gets too low to hunt, you can either join the girls on the beach for beverages or run back to the clubhouse and shoot skeet. This is seriously the most relaxing hunt that we do. For the right trade, we can combo a dove hunt over sunflower fields.
