Trip Description
- I have 2 alligator tags in Mississippi. Could take up to 3 people. We have killed big gators and catch and release a lot of smaller alligators. Been doing this for years. We will have plenty of opportunities to kill an alligator. Alligator season is August 30- September 9 and we drew the most coveted zone in MS (West Central). This is where most of the new state records come from. We are allowed to kill 2 alligators. One of them can be 4-7 foot (Slot gator) which is great for wallets, belts, eating, etc. And we can kill one trophy (over 7 foot). We have killed several over 12 foot. You can expect to have several opportunities for 10+ footers. We hunt mainly at night. Sleep during the day and try to get on the water around 6pm. Not like swamp people. We find the gators with a spot light, then hook them with big treble hook to bring them to the side of the boat. Then we have to lasso them before we can legally kill them. No drinking while hunting but it is a ton of fun! You can also fish in our 50+ acre lake for catfish and bass that is right by the house. We are also planning a dove shoot on that monday morning of September 2nd that you can hunt in. We killed over 250 doves on this hunt last season.

- LOOKING FOR: Very interested in Elk and Bear hunting but open to suggestions. Looking to do a father-son trip.
