Trip Description
- I have a charter and guide service out of Pensacola Florida. We offer Inshore/Offshore Fishing, Guided Hunts, and Scenic Boat Tours. Come hunting with one of Pensacola’s most experienced hunters. Bay and Gulf Hunts available. Hunt Private and Public Land. Hunts are within 1 hour of downtown Pensacola. Morning and Afternoon Duck Hunts available. On Bay and Gulf Hunts we encounter Redheads, Ringnecks, Bluebills (Greater Scaup), Buffleheads, Common and Hooded Mergansers. On Cypress Swamp Duck Hunts, we hunt private and public cypress ponds. Our private duck hunts are from our 22' by 10' floating duck blind (on pontoons) on a private catfish pond. On our cypress swamp hunts we encounter Blue Wing Teal, Green Wing Teal, Wood Ducks, Mergansers, Greenheads (late in the season) and some Gadwalls (gray ducks). When it comes to hunting ducks, Pensacola is a special place! Perched on the western edge of the Atlantic Flyway, the Pensacola area offers a unique opportunity for duck hunters to encounter species common in the Atlantic as well as the Mississippi and Central Flyways to the west. Bluebills (Greater Scaups) and Wood Ducks, common residents of the Eastern Flyway as well as Redheads and Gadwalls (Gray Ducks), more common in the Mississippi and Central Flyways, can all be encountered on a duck hunting trip in the Pensacola area.
