Trip Description
- This trip would be for someone who is generally interested in being pointed in the right direction and being turned loose. I would be more than happy to share some local knowledge and spots, but I will not particularly be your guide (as I would want the same reciprocated). I would guarantee the average hunter a chance at some of my best spots to find a Merriam's tom. As always, if you were to need anything I would be there to help you. However, this is not the hunt for you if you expect to sit in a blind the entire time, refuse to walk further than a mile from the truck and expect a gimme. Most of this terrain can be difficult and nontraditional for most turkey hunting ventures across the country. In my perfect world, someone would give me a great place to hunt with ample opportunity and allow me to make mistakes and figure an area and species out. Whether that be me (as your host) securing permission on a small farm or sending you an OnX point where I have had great success in the past.
