Trip Description
- Trout fishing on some of the most productive waters in America. Norfork tailwater fishes small, more like a western river while the White is a much bigger water system. One of the best places in the world to get your trout slam, all 4 trout species (browns, rainbows, brook and cutthroat) in a single day on the same body of water. I’ve had several people go with me and get their slam in the last few years. I typically take people in individual kayaks in low water so every fisherman has the freedom to bank up, wade, and fish how they’d like. 6 mile float from the Norfork dam through the tailwater, into the White River and I pull out the kayaks in the back yard of my house just a few miles down the white river. Also fish at night right by the dam for trophy brown trout. Whether you want a vacation fishing trip in the Ozarks with your family limiting out on rainbow trout or want to chase trophy brown trout for a weekend, this is a great place to do it and I’d like to help.
