Trip Description
- My family has been blessed to own 180 acres of beautiful farm and hunt land in West Central, Illinois (Henderson County) just nine miles east of the Mississippi River. Our farm consists of big oak timber, a beautiful valley and stream that runs through our entire farm, and has multiple corn and soybean fields in and around our timber. Come join us on a self hunt (or guided as desired) to experience the thrill of a big Eastern Turkey gobbling down through the holler at you and watch him strut right into range. My son Logan and I will give you a tour of the farm and show you the best locations for turkey hunting. Our diverse farm has a significant turkey population that is rarely hunted and we offer permanent ground blinds, temporary ground blinds, and multiple big oaks to hunt from throughout our property. We have traded turkey hunts in the past with high hunter success and have references as needed. Our farm is located 9 miles west of Monmouth, IL and 22 miles east of Burlington, Iowa.
Accommodations
- We have multiple hotel lodging options within a 20 minute drive. We have all of the ground blinds and/or stands needed. All you will need to bring is your turkey call and gun.
