Trip Description
- Traditional Brant hunting along the south shore of Long Island New York. Great opportunity to get a bucket list bird off the list. Success rates are incredibly high and the chance of getting a band are also likely. Long Island is the heart of the wintering ground for these birds. Along with Brant there is also a good chance of shooting divers as well as puddle ducks, mostly black ducks. All hunts will be in the tidal salt marshes east of New York City.
Accommodations
- I cannot provide lodging but there are numerous hotels near my home which is minutes from where we will be hunting. There are multiple restaurants and bars around for food and drinks. I have my boats in the water and will bring all the decoys we will need. Only things you’ll need is your gear, gun, ammo, federal duck stamp and New York hunting license.
Trade Interests
- LOOKING FOR: I would mostly be interested in trading for other waterfowl hunts, but I would also be interested in turkey or big game hunts as well.
