Trip Description
- My dad and I drew 4 tags for alligators in Central Florida this season. These are county tags so we would not be limited to one lake and we can hunt private and public in Polk County. We have all the equipment necessary. We have been doing this for 8 years and have averaged 10’ alligators over the past couple of seasons. Our biggest is right under 12 feet. We typically hunt with a snatch rod with a treble hook on the end and fight them into the boat. Use a bangstick to get them in the boat not a gun. Depending on the trade, we are willing to give your group all 4 tags. Tags are good from August-October. We can hunt starting August 15th for a week then all of September and October. We can hunt night and mornings (typically 5:30 pm to 10 am). You can keep the meat, hide, skull, etc. If you’re interested, please feel free to contact me and we can discuss any other details.
Accommodations
- We don't have any accommodations but there are several hotels within 10 miles of my house. We can provide transportation to and from the airport, hotel, and hunt.
