We have great duck hunting on the San Juan River in New Mexico. Almost always kill a mixed bag of species. These can include Wigeon, Mallard, Gadwall, Teal, Goldeneye, Bufflehead, and Ringnecks. On average we kill anywhere between 8 birds and a 3-man limit. Mainly hunt mornings but can also hunt afternoons if needed. I have the boat and all the decoys needed.
We also offer flyfishing for trade and can do that in the afternoons if you would like. Mainly catching rainbow and brown trout. The San Juan River has world-class water for fishing and can be great even in the winter.
Accommodations
My parents have a few extra rooms they use for an Airbnb that you could possibly use or I can recommend a local hotel.
