Trip Description
- Launching from the causeway east of Mobile, Al. Fishing for red drum in the mobile bay and lower delta. 3 per person limit. Using live shrimp and artificial baits. Reds are some strong fighting fish and they vary in sizes small to huge. The fishing can be on fire, really slow, or none at all. Also may catch flounder, bass, sheep head and/or specks.
Accommodations
- There are many hotels 5-10 min away from the launch that are right down the road from bass pro and some of the best seafood restaurants which offer live music overlooking the water.
