Trip Description
- We have close to 300 acres of property that is covered up in turkeys. The property has a big alfalfa field, a big bean field, and a lot of open hardwoods. Heard 18 gobbling from one spot on opening day last year. 100% kill rate last year for everybody that hunted. My best bird yet was killed last year and it had an 11" beard and 1 7/8" spurs. Our birds typically weigh around 26-27lbs. Our farm is 30 min west of Cincinnati.
